In Siofok the final conference of the ATDS II project was held
The final conference that was held in Siofok marked the end of the project "Amusement Tourism Development Strategy II". As part of the conference an event of attracting investors in tourism was held. During this event project results were presented by the Agency for Development and Coordination of Lake Balaton and the City of Koprivnica.
The director of Lake Balaton Development and Coordination Agency Gabor Molnar, in his welcoming speech has stressed the importance of cross-border cooperation between Croatia and Hungary. In his address, he specifically referred to the cooperation in continental tourism whose potential, especially in Croatia, has so far been unused and thanked the City of Koprivnica for the initiative in designing and implementing a project aimed at developing innovative tourist offer in the cross-border area. Representative of the City of Koprivnica gave an overview of the project ATDS II, its planned and realized activities and the results of the project for the City of Koprivnica. Hungarian partners presented the results of public research in four major cities: Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Zagreb which helped analyse what the kind of fun park potential visitors would like on the Lake Balaton, what kind of attractions they would like to see and visit in the Lake Balaton region and how much would they pay for entrance to such park. They also presented financial feasibility study of the theme park and various themes that could be used for the realization of such park in Balaton.
